Gummy Bait Sardine Compo

Dropshot.co.za and Gummy are about to launch the 4th Gummy Bait Sardine Compo 2010! Taking place during the Natal Sardine Run, this fun comp (dates to be advised shortly) is run by www.fishingcorner.co.za and 2010 comp is going to be huge!

Rules and Regulations:

This is not a drop shot only comp you may fish with whatever you want however there will be Great prizes for whoever catches fish on drop shot.
This comp will be a species multiplication competition. Therefore points will be awarded as follows: (No of Species x sum of fish weights) + Bonus points = Your final score. The Comp will be a catch and release comp onlyYou are only allowed to enter 1 fish per species, therefore your first fish of a species entered will be will be used. Minimum weight of 3KG according to measurement graphAll fish to be entered must be photographed next to the paddle measurement that will be provided and submitted under the “Sardine Machine” section in the gallery. It must include your name, the mesurement, the date, name of a fishing corner witness, fishing discipline as well as the nearest town to where you caught the fish. All competitors must team up and paddle in twos. All fish for a particular weekends fishing must be entered no later than Monday 12:00 Mid day. No entries will be accepted thereafter. You can enter a maximum of 2 fish per speciesAllowed Species:

– All Salt Water Game fishes (including shad and Kob Species) will be allowed.
– No bottoms (excluding Kob species i.e. Dagga,Geelbeck etc) will be allowed.
– No sharks will be allowed.
– No Flat fish will be allowed
– If you not sure please feel free to ask me.
